Kainchi Dham: Spiritual Journey That Inspired Tech Giants

Many of us might not be even aware of the first two names mentioned in the title except for the fact that they are Indian terms. Now, why have I mentioned their names along with the American tech giants? Don’t they appear to be completely different genres? Well, the thing here is that there is, in fact, a very important connection between these three. Talking about Kainchi Dham, it is an ashram which is located in the beautiful state of Uttarakhand. Every year, numerous devotees throng this pious place. This place holds a very special position for all the present tech giants as well as the aspiring ones. Why? This is because this place has been visited by renowned personalities like Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg.

There is one more name which is associated with Kainchi Dham – Neem Karoli Baba or Neeb Karori Baba who is popularly known as Maharaj Ji among his followers. This mystic devotee of Lord Hanuman has served as the guru of many people during the 1960s and 1970s and still has a huge number of followers even now after his death. Just imagine, if the co – founder of Apple, Steve Jobs had come to meet this great man, then there was definitely something charismatic about him! Don’t you agree?

Neem Karoli Baba is considered to be one of the best spiritual teachers of all times. Although he had nothing to do with entrepreneurship, industrialism or technology but his words definitely did wonders and had a deep, spiritual impact on the minds of the people. Unfortunately, neither Mark Zuckerberg nor Steve Jobs were able to meet this man physically as he was already dead by then. However, they definitely followed his path which helped them a lot in fulfilling their dreams and becoming successful in their careers.

It is also said that Steve Jobs got the vision or the idea of creating Apple in Kainchi Dham itself. That is why he recommended Mark Zuckerberg to visit this spiritual place when the latter was facing a tough time in his life. The Facebook founder did visit the place and as we can guess, definitely got the answer of some of his concerns and issues.

India is a land of great diversity. People belonging to different religions and beliefs live together in peace and harmony here. Spiritualism is something which is not new to Indian people. This idea or concept of spiritualism is carried forward by some great men like Neem Karoli Baba which is adopted and followed by some aspiring people including the American tech giants too!
