The leading professional network in the world, LinkedIn recently announced the list of the Top 25 start-ups in India which are most desirable among professionals. This list includes those start-ups which have set a benchmark in the entrepreneurial journey.

These 25 companies depict a picture of the thriving start-up landscape in India, and various industries ranging from consumer tech, health tech, logistics, to hospitality. LinkedIn’s India Editor, Adith Charlie states that professionals use this website as a platform to gather a variety of information and to avail employment opportunities. He adds that LinkedIn’s data provide insights related to the top trends that drive India’s economy and how these companies are becoming the most preferred places to work for professionals these days.

OYO Rooms, widely known as OYO, is the largest hospitality company in India. Founded in 2013, this company provides quality hotels at affordable prices

Curefit

Curefit

Cure.fit is a curative and preventive health care and fitness company headquartered in Bangalore. It delivers physical and mental well-being across four flagship verticals.

Dunzo

Dunzo connects people with the nearest available delivery partners for picking up and delivering items.

Rivigo

With a global headcount of 3700, Rivigo raised $50 million at a valuation of $945 million gaining marquee clients such as Maruti Suzuki, ITC, and Marks & Spencer.

Digit Insurance

Bengaluru-based online general insurer Digital Insurance has a global headcount of 630 and believes in simplifying processes digitally.

LBB – Little Black Book

The Delhi-based Little Black Book has a global headcount of 80, and its recommendations span everything from food and fashion to theatre and shopping across eight cities.

Republic World

Republic world is an English news platform. It has a global headcount of 400 and has topped viewership ratings in English news media since its launch in May 2017.

The Minimalist

With a global headcount of 60, The Minimalist works with renowned clients. It gained momentum when its revenue and headcount doubled over the last year.

Razorpay

Bengaluru-based online payment solutions provider, Razorpay has a global headcount of 230 and services more than 100,000 businesses, including names such as Bharti Airtel, IRCTC, and Goibibo.

Nineleaps accelerates product development for other startups by providing web and mobile application services and is expanding into new markets such as Singapore and Indonesia.

Innov8 Coworking

New Delhi-based Innov8 has 13 centers across the country and it aspires to add 100 employees and treble its seat count to 12,000.

With a global headcount of 240, Mumbai-based Schbang counts marquee names as clients.

Acko General Insurance

Mumbai-based Acko has a global headcount of 115. It solves everyday pain points with solutions such as in-trip covers for Ola users and screen protection for devices.

Treebo Hotels

With a global headcount of 795, Bengaluru-based Treebo has made it to the top (9,000 rooms) in three years.

InCred

Mumbai-based InCred offers loans for personal and educational purposes. It also provides credit to small and medium-sized businesses.

Jumbotail

Jumbotail is a B2B e-marketplace based in Bengaluru. It connects neighborhood stores with their suppliers.

Zapr Media Labs

Zapr Media has a global headcount of 110 and is situated in Bengaluru. It analyses TV viewership data and provides information to broadcasters, advertisers, and media agencies.

With a global headcount of 165, as many as 2 million developers and more than 25,000 paying customers to use its mobile app and web-testing platform.

Udaan.com

Company has a global headcount of 401. It became the fastest Indian startup to bag unicorn status and expanded its reach to more than 500 cities.

SigTuple is based in Bengaluru. It has a global headcount of 120, and applies robotics and AI for more accurate medical screening tests.

UpGrad.com

UpGrad.com has a global headcount of 390. It offers industry-relevant courses in subjects such as digital marketing, data science, and product management.

InterviewBit

InterviewBit is a preparation site for tech jobs. This startup also sources pre-screened technical talent for coveted employers such as Facebook, Amazon, Uber, and Flipkart.

Shuttl

With a global headcount of 300, Gurugram-based bus aggregation startup Shuttl recently raised $11 million from Amazon, Dentsu Ventures, and existing investors including Sequoia Capital.

Meesho

Meesho is a Bengaluru-based reseller marketplace. It connects sellers with suppliers by using social media platforms.

Exadatum Software Services

Exadatum is a one-stop shop for Big Data technologies. With a global headcount of 70, it aims to make Big Data implementation faster, cheaper and standardized for Fortune 500 clients.
